Route 66 Raceway began in 1998 and still around today. Andrew Hines, Greg Anderson, "Fast" Jack Beckman, and Antron Brown ruled Route 66 in 2016.

It's tough that Tony Pedregon couldn't go any faster and failed to make it in. But it's not just him. So was the Kalitta's in top fuel. Scott and Connie both failed to make it in.

This was the race Sprague broke an oil line. That 24 truck should have won this race.

I went to this race complements of Irwin tools. Russell Branham took us to the front of the line every where we went, all weekend long. Even to Victory Lane, I'm kneeling down right in front of Brad and his trophy. All followed up with the best party with every employee for Irwin Tools. What a great weekend. Thank You Russell I still remember that like it happened yesterday. Oh by the way Russell runs Talladega Speedway these days.
